The Samsung Corby Folder looks to be another low-cost mobile phone according to a press release leaked on a Korean website and could end up in the UK as part of the Genio range.
The clamshell design has two cameras; one three megapixel unit for proper snaps and one forward-facing VGA snapper which would usually be used for video calling. If this feature remains it will require the Corby Fold to pack a 3G connection, which would increase both the functionality and the price of the mobile phone.
As with the current Genio range, it is expected that the Corby Fold will be made available in a rainbow of colours aimed at the youth and fashion markets and a microSD memory card slot along with Bluetooth are also present and correct.
The various mobiles within the recently released Genio range are performing well for Samsung in the UK and so the swift arrival of this new Corby phone is likely not long after its release in Korea.
