On January 21st Nokia will be hosting a press event in London and it has issued invitations to various figures in technology journalism in order to update them as to the latest changes that are coming to its Ovi services.
Although the invitations do not contain any specific details, they indicate that important news relating to Ovi and Nokia's plans for 2010 will be made public.
Observers have already begun speculating as to what the announcement will actually involve. Some believe that it will be confirmation that the Ovi Store is getting an overhaul, whilst others have suggested that it is merely an official event to mark the availability of the Ovi Store on the N900.
With the focus being on Ovi, most concur that Nokia is unlikely to be in the process of announcing a brand new mobile phone.
However, any news relating to Ovi-based improvements will be welcomed by the millions of existing Nokia customers who use the store.
