The Sony Ericsson Satio does not feel as though it has been around for long, but confirmation that its successor will be arriving soon has already been given: long live the Sony Ericsson Vivaz.
Vivaz is the retail name that has been given to what was called the Kurara during its development and it is a smartphone based on the Symbian software platform.
Sony Ericsson 'accidentally' let slip a press release detailing some of the technical specifications of the Vivaz online, only to quickly take down the posting, but not before some eager journalists had got their hands on it.
Apparently the Vivaz will have an 8.1 megapixel camera and uses a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a high resolution. It is also expected to feature 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with built-in GPS for navigation.
In addition to this, the Vivaz will have a TV output, allowing you to view pictures and videos that you capture with the device on the big screen without any fuss.
No news as to the release date or pricing has yet emerged, but expect to see the Sony Ericsson Vivaz touching down in the next few months.
