iPhone gets iPad interface

With 3D effects and the new iBooks store, the iPad user interface (UI) is certainly the envy of iPhone owners, but just days after its launch a hacker has already managed to find a way of transferring the iPad's UI over to the iPhone.

You will need to be in possession of a jailbroken iPhone in order to get the new UI, which in itself requires a little bit of moxy and the necessary skills to do the job properly without bricking your precious smartphone.

The hack actually does more than resize the larger icons to make them appropriate for the smaller screen of the iPhone; it modifies every aspect of the UI so that it works smoothly with the iPhone's hardware.
