After launching on the Ovi Store last year, music identification app Shazam has been downloaded over one million times.
Shazam was one of the key launch titles to premiere at the Ovi Store's grand opening and it has remained a firm favourite amongst Nokia users.
Nokia's Marco Argenti said: "Shazam keeps being one of the top apps Ovi Store users love because of its ingredients of success: simplicity, usefulness, fun.
"This recipe has resonated with music lovers around the world who now can 'tag' the music they like and be able to purchase it from Nokia Music Store with just a couple of clicks."
Shazam is available on a number of different mobile platforms and is used by over 50 million people worldwide.
The Shazam app has developed far beyond its initial basic music identification focus, with integration into social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, allowing its users to share newly discovered music.
