Augmented reality game Ghostwire, which was recently announced as a Nintendo DSi exclusive, is now on the way to the iPhone and Android phones.
Developer Majesco announced the possibility of a port this week for the highly-rated game, which takes advantage of its two cameras to provide an immersive augmented reality experience.
Various ghouls are plastered onto the world around the windows of the DSi's dual screen set-up in what is reported to be a mix of monster-catching and puzzle-based investigative gaming.
Majesco is planning to implement other common smartphone technology to boost the game's effectiveness, including the integration of GPS features.
Ghostwire is not yet available on the DSi and its developer says that it will be arriving to coincide with Halloween this year.
It's not yet known if the smartphone versions will also be ready for launch by this time.
