A new website created to promote the upcoming addition to the long-running Splinter Cell video game franchise suggests that an iPhone version is on the works.
Mobile game developer Gameloft recently launched the site and the only information available to fans is the artistic rendering of Sam Fisher, the lead character and some text stating: 'Your Morals, Your Game'.
As well as featuring the static image, the site has a series of seemingly meaningless numbers, but some clever detective types have already worked out that they are in fact the coordinates for the location of Apple's headquarters in Cupertino.
Because of these pieces of evidence, there is a high likelihood that the iPhone will soon play host to a Splinter Cell title for the first time, although precisely what form this game will take remains to be seen.
The enigmatic tagline, meanwhile, suggests that the player will be forced to make black and white decisions and choose a path of righteousness or evil, which is something that many other games have attempted in the past.
Gameloft is closely tied to developer Ubisoft, which is behind the full home console and PC versions of the Splinter Cell titles.
