Samsung appears to be about to unveil a new smartphone dubbed the S Life, just a month after it showcased its new Bada mobile phone operating system.
The mysterious S Life news came in the form of invites sent out to members of the US technology press, letting them know about Samsung's Unpacked expo which is taking place in Las Vegas this month.
Samsung has previously used the showcase to introduce the Jet and the Wave to the world and there is now fevered debate as to whether S Life relates to a new mobile phone launch, or to some other service which is completely unknown.
A typically cryptic Samsung statement referred to S Life as being "as much a feeling as it is an incredible achievement",
Samsung's JK Shin has said that the Unpacked expo will definitely showcase S Life as a mobile product, which narrows the field of speculation a little bit.
Some observers have said that Samsung might be launching an entry-level smartphone based on Bada, whilst others suggest that Samsung could be planning a brand new app store under the S Life brand.
