The latest figures show that BlackBerry owners account for nearly three quarters of all mobile downloads.
mobile content provider Myxer reports that in March this year BlackBerrys were used for 72 per cent of the total downloads from the firm.
Android users accounted for 14 per cent of the 22 million items total, while Windows Mobile was in third with seven per cent.
iPhone owners were only found to make up about two per cent of the total downloads, which might seem odd, but probably simply suggests that Myxer is less popular among Apple fans.
The most popular BlackBerry smartphone for downloading was the Curve 8330, accounting for 4.8 million items of mobile content.
Female BlackBerry users are far more likely to visit the Myxer Platform, according to the firm behind the report.
It says that BlackBerry Pearl 8130 users are predominantly women, with 70 per cent of customers bringing the feminine touch, whilst the touchscreen Storm is a hit with the men, who made up 46 per cent of users in this category.
