Sony Ericsson has unveiled the latest additions to its Walkman range of phones in the shape of the Zylo and Spiro, both of which will go on sale later in the year.
The phones are going to avoid competing with smartphones, which tend to be jacks of all trades by focusing upon excelling at a few key functions, including multimedia playback and social networking.
Twitter and Facebook apps will come pre-loaded on both handsets and Sony Ericsson's critically acclaimed FLAC audio system will ensure that music player credentials are top of the line.
The Spiro will have a two megapixel camera and boasts a clever feature that broadcasts the music you are listening to as well as your voice when you call a friend, allowing you to share tunes and chat at the same time.
The Zylo is the more expensive of the two, with a three megapixel camera and a premium look.
Both phones will be produced in a variety of colour options.
