LG is bringing out a new smartphone, called the Ally, in conjunction with the new film Iron Man 2, complete with exclusive content from the superhero flick of the summer.
Iron Man 2 has already made its UK debut, but the LG Ally will not be hitting shops in the US on the 20th of May, with the Android operating system on board.
LG has not been particularly generous in discussing the technical specifications for the Ally thus far, but it is known that the phone will feature a full touchscreen display with a slide out QWERTY keypad beneath.
Rumours suggest that the retail version of the phone will feature a free comic book, created by Marvel as a limited edition gift.
Apparently the LG Ally will also use its augmented reality capabilities to activate exclusive content when pointed at specific pages in the comic, which could be interesting for fans of the Iron Man series.
More details about the LG Ally will be made public next week when LG holds a press conference to discuss the phone and its features.
It is unknown as to whether the LG Ally will make it to the UK.
