The first-ever Versace branded mobile, dubbed the Versace Unique, is set to sashay its way onto the shelves of boutiques imminently.
Buyers can choose from either a gold plate or high grade stainless steel finish. Mobile manufacturer LG is behind the nuts and bolts of the phone, which has a three-inch touchscreen display, a five megapixel camera and the basic array of multimedia playback capabilities.
LG and Versace have not revealed the operating system on the Unique, although this kind of feature is likely to be irrelevant to the target market, who will be more interested by the fact that there is an embossed Versace logo on the front of the phone and on the back of the leather carry case.
If you have to ask how much the Versace Unique is, you probably cannot afford it, although a little indication as to its price point would have been welcome since most people are prepared to fork out hundreds of pounds on the latest smartphone.
People who visit "the most important exclusive watch and fine jewellery networks and Versace flagship boutiques worldwide," will be able to get their hands on the Versace Unique from next month. So do not expect to see this in your local mobile phone store any time soon.
