LG has created a limited edition of its best-selling Pop GD510 smartphone to tie in with international teen vampire sensation Twilight.
Sadly the modified LG GD510 Pop is currently on limited release in France via the Orange network, which means that UK fans are unlikely to be able to get their hands on this collector's item.
The phone features the Twilight logo and some curling, flower white etchings on its all-black battery cover. Onboard it has an exclusive Twilight theme and a selection of wallpapers that the user can switch at will.
Somewhat strangely, the handset has been dedicated to Twilight: New Moon, which was launched last autumn to huge box office acclaim. The latest Twilight film, subtitled Eclipse, is due to land in cinemas worldwide on July 7th, after its initial US release on June 30th.
LG has not changed the basic capabilities of the GD510, as it still has a three megapixel camera, three inch touchscreen display and context sensitive menu key. It will be on sale for around £170 until the end of the year, so importing is always an option, provided that your French is up to scratch.
