An idea for a futuristic mobile phone called the Flutter has taken home first prize in a competition organised by Korean manufacturer LG.
The LG "Design the Future" competition has run for the past three years and the latest winner created an interesting concept for a mobile phone that might become reality in years to come.
The Flutter is very loosely related to the flip phones of the modern day, but its radial touchscreen, which is housed in a shell that looks like a cross between a flick knife and a cocoon, certainly marks it out as a departure from contemporary mobile design.
The team behind the Flutter has received nearly £14,000 in prize money, according to Gizmodo.
