The HD version of HTC's Desire is set to launch in Q4 of this year, boasting a significantly enhanced 4.3 inch touchscreen. Similarly, the much anticipated HTC Vision with a slide-out keyboard is slated for Q4.
Whilst the Desire HD's screen resolution is anticipated to remain unchanged, the step up from the current 3.7 inch touchscreen is a significant one.
Although no official confirmation has as yet been released, industry analysts are hoping that HTC will retain the AMOLED technology in the Desire HD.
Other Desire enhancements include improved media playback, with support for XviD format and the option to record in HD at 720p resolution. Playback will also benefit from SRS surround sound.
The HTC Vision, details of which were originally leaked under the HTC Ace name, is set to join HTC's high end Android line-up.
Many Android smartphone users have been eagerly awaiting an HTC model with a keyboard. In addition to the all important slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the Vision is expected to boast some serious hardware, all powered by a 1.2GHz processor.
