The continually delayed white edition of the iPhone 4 has apparently been captured on camera as part of an unboxing review online, although some are less than convinced that it is the real thing.
The video first appeared on tech site Daily Mobile via an embedded YouTube player and has already been removed by the original uploader, but not before it was given a thorough examination on the pages and forums of many websites.
In the clip, the reviewer indicates that he received the phone direct from Apple and that he was as surprised as anyone to have seen the white iPhone 4 in his hands many months before its reported release.
This could all be an elaborate act, but given the fairly convincing nature of the video it is difficult to come to a clear conclusion.
Apple is likely to hold off the launch of the white iPhone 4 until closer to the end of 2010 due to problems with the manufacturing process.
