Yet another Windows Phone 7 handset has surfaced, this time from HTC, after a screenshot of Vodafone Germany’s inventory list was leaked online by German site Best Boyz.
The phone, originally known as HTC Trophy was discovered in a leaked roadmap from HTC last year, where a certain HTC Legend also first made its appearance.
However, it appears that Trophy, previously a Windows Mobile 6.5 kit now appears to be running the new Windows Phone 7 operating system and has added the number ‘7’ to its name to signify its new identity.
Currently known features of the phone include a portrait QWERTY keyboard, a five-megapixel camera and a 3-inch VGA screen. Though the screen will have to be upgraded due to Microsoft’s strict guidelines on hardware requirements.
HTC is holding a press event this week where it is expected to unveil a slate of new handsets. With the Windows Phone 7 launch only a month away, the Trophy could use some limelight, though it is bound to get lost in the glow of the upcoming HTC Desire HD.
