Images of yet another Windows Phone 7 smartphone have been leaked online, this time the HTC Mondrian, giving eager-eyed fans more reason to be excited for the upcoming launch.
German site Best Boyz managed to get hold of some press shots of what it claims is the HTC Mondrian, showing the candybar handset in a sleek black enclosure.
Some of the features the handset is rumoured to be packing include a sizable 4.3-inch AMOLED display and a 1.3Ghz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. We also expect it to feature at least a five-megapixel camera with 8GB storage capacity, as per Microsoft guidelines.
The Mondrian is just one of several Windows Phone 7 smartphones being planned by the Taiwanese smartphone giant, which seems to be throwing its full weight behind the platform despite its strong connection to Google’s Android operating system.
Microsoft is expected to unveil a string of handsets in a press call in New York on October 11th. It is also reportedly planning launch events on October 26th to officially launch the platform in Europe.
