A hitherto unseen HTC Windows Phone 7 has apparently surfaced online, ahead of Microsoft’s official platform launch next month.
Unearthed by PocketNow, a spyshot depicts a touchscreen-only smartphone with a form factor discernibly different from the HTC HD7, which it claims is the HTC 7 Trophy.
Although the snap shows it is clearly running the Windows Phone operating system, the site did not give any indication of specs apart from the fact that it will pack a fairly generous 8GB of internal memory.
HTC’s media optimised HD7 is expected to land next month when Microsoft finally lifts the lid on its latest smartphone effort.
A handset roadmap published yesterday by WMPoweruser suggests it will hit the market October 18th with a price point not much shy of £500.
Specs are as yet unconfirmed, but it is expected to feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-megapixel camera with high definition video recording and a 1GHz processor.
