Rovio has promised a ‘special treat’ for iPhone Angry Birds enthusiasts this week, as it gears up for the update of its title for Apple smartphones next month.
The full update will bring come with a host of new levels for iPhone gamers to get through and is due to arrive "early November", according to Rovio’s Twitter feed.
However, before then it has somewhat cryptically trailed as a 'special treat' what looks likely to be a new feature for the title, possibly related to support Apple’s Game Centre which arrived with the last update in late September.
The company has also announced that the much-touted Nokia N8 version is now just days away from release, coinciding with the Nseries handset's long-awaited launch on contract deals in the UK.
Unveiled officially at the Nokia World expo last month amid no little fanfare, the N8 edition showcases an exclusive smartbomb feature dubbed Mighty Eagle that enables players to clear levels they are stuck on.
