The HTC Desire HD is available to pre-order now on Vodafone, with handsets despatched to buyers from October 14th.
HTC’s latest, greatest Android smartphone is free from £35 over two year contracts, with allowances differing extensively depending on whether you complete your purchase on or offline.
Buy the handset on the web and you’ll grab yourself a generous 900 minutes per month, plus unlimited texts and 750Mb of data.
Opt to get the Desire HD offline, though, and you’re looking at substantially less for your outlay, with just 600 minutes per month and 500MB of data, plus unlimited SMS messages.
There can’t be too many of you out there who don’t know about the handset and quite why it’s got the Fandroids in a spin. But just in case you’ve been in tech exile, here’s a few pointers:
- Eight megapixel camera with HD video recording
- Industry-leading 4.3-inch touchscreen display
- All-new HTC Sense user interface
- Android 2.2 aka Froyo out of the box
- Tens of thousands of apps
