Angry Birds fans with Android phones who’ve played their way through the title haven’t got too much longer to wait for more levels, games maker Rovio has confirmed.
In a post on its Twitter feed, Rovio revealed that it plans to have the 1.4 update of the game ready for download “within a week or two, hopefully fast”.
Along with 15 challenges to work your way through, the update will bring with it the same features as the 1.4 edition of the title for the iPhone.
That means you can also forward to a super-sized version of the starting bird with which to wreak revenge on the laughing porcines, a new hidden golden egg, plus some more cutesy story and Facebook and Twitter buttons for sharing your high scores.
The full Android version of Angry Birds only landed on the platform late last month but has already racked up over three million downloads, prompting tech commentators to posit that the platform is finally reaching its potential.
