Angry Birds is finally set to come to the HTC Wildfire, games maker Rovio has revealed.
Although Angry Birds landed on the Android platform last month, it is does not currently run on phones with smaller QVGA screens, such as the keenly priced HTC Wildfire.
However, that’s about to change. Responding to a query on its Twitter feed, Rovio has disclosed that it will be “adding support for QVGA screens in next update" and noted that the new version "should work on the Wildfire as well!”
With the update for the title already confirmed to be incoming in a ‘week or two”, it looks like HTC Wildfire owners will finally be able to join the Angry Birds party and see for themselves just what all the fuss is about.
News of the company’s plans comes as it was this week announced that the full version of Angry Birds on the iPhone has racked up some ten million downloads.
Personally, I think Cut the Rope is twice the game. But hey, what do I know?
