Remember that Epic Games title for the iPhone we scribed about last week? Well, there’s now an official trailer for it and it may just blow your mind.
Infinity Blade, in case you needed a refresher, is an upcoming action-RPG being developed by Chair Entertainment Arcade (makers of Shadow Complex for Xbox Live) Arcade that runs on Epic’s proprietary Unreal Engine 3, which powers some of the biggest franchises in gaming on consoles and PCs.
Up until now we’ve only had a glimpse of title’s jaw-dropping graphics from a tech demo. Epic has now revealed the first official trailer of the game complete with a helpful serving of gameplay footage that made the inner-nerds in us get giddy with excitement. See for yourself why in the trailer below:
Epic is no doubt hoping to market Infinity Blade as a technical showpiece of the Unreal Engine, and we’d be lying if we said we aren’t hoping it catches the attention of other big names in the industry to carry on the good work Chair Entertainment has done.
Infinity Blade will be released this holiday season and is currently for iOS devices only.
