Reports that Samsung has developed the fabled Nexus Two for Google have been denied point blank by the South Korean phone maker.
Suggestions that Samsung is onboard with the project surfaced last week, in turn fuelling speculation that the device would make its debut at a Samsung press call in New York on November 8th.
However, a spokesperson for Sammy has shot that idea down in flames in an interview with Korean site danawa.com in which the official dismissed the rumours as “simply not true”.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a Google Nexus Two at all. But we think it’s safe to assume that if said device does ever appear it’ll be made by HTC, which partnered everyone’s favourite search giant for the Nexus One.
For what it’s worth, we’re highly sceptical of the Nexus Two story and are much, much more inclined to believe Google’s Eric Schmidt when he ruled out another Google branded phone earlier this year.
