A special luxury edition of the Galaxy Tab is on the way for the Christmas market, bundling Sammy’s tablet challenger with some high-end accessories.
The limited edition version of Tab is only available between December 15th and January 31st 2011 and differs from the standard edition by adding a smart leather case and a Bluetooth headset. For that, you’re looking at an outlay of £630 when you buy it SIM free.
Earlier this month, Samsung predicted that the Tab, which many expected to struggle to compete with the iPad, would reach 1 million sales before the end of the year.
Standout features include include dual cameras for video calling, Android 2.2 out of the box and a seven-inch screen – compared with the iPad’s 9.7-inches.
The device is also packaged with exclusive content from casual games maker Gameloft, as well as apps from the Financial Times and WHSmith.
