The latest addition to Research in Motion’s (RIM) burgeoning BlackBerry Storm has leaked online, as forthcoming BlackBerry phones continues to arrive thick and fast.
Last week three previously unseen BlackBerrys were unearthed by the good, good people at Boy Genius Report in as many days. The devices, namely the Torch 2, Curve Apollo and Dakota are all expected to land in the third quarter of this year.
And today there’s no let up in the leaks, with BGR publishing snaps and an undeniably impressive spec sheet for the Storm 3. Notable highlights include a 3.7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, making it the highest-res display yet to feature on a BlackBerry, and a 1.2Ghz processor to keep everything ticking over smoothly.
Elsewhere, there’s a five-megapixel snapper with high-def video recording, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card support and the option to tether the handset, enabling you to use it as a de facto wireless mobile broadband dongle.
The Storm, which will ship the latest version 6.1 of RIM’s operating system onboard, is expected to land in the US in September.
