A mystery handset thought to be the Sony Ericsson Anzu has cropped up in a poster at the Consumer Electronics Show.
The ad, which was snapped by Engadget at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, is for a handset with what appear to be super slim dimensions, which would certainly tie in with reports from online sources who claim to have got up close and personal to the Anzu.
Presuming it is, and that the spec sheet is anything like as impressive as we’re being led to believe by earlier reports, this is going to be a beast of a smartphone. Not least because it packs a whopping, industry-leading 4.2-inch screen with 854×480 resolution and will run Android 2.3 out of the box.
It’s also reputedly home to an 8.1 megapixel camera with video recording in rich high def and stereo audio recording, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Sony Ericsson is also rumoured to be using the expo to finally lift the lid on the fabled PlayStation phone.
