Tech specs of a hitherto unseen Nokia smartphone, dubbed the E6-00, have been leaked on the Nokia website.
A user over at My Nokia Blog discovered an XML file on the phone maker's official site which, if you scroll down far enough (or simply do a search on ‘E6-00’), reveals what appears to be the technical specifications for the handset laced within the XML code.
Standout features include a full physical QWERTY keyboard, an ARM 11 CPU, which could be anywhere between 800MHz to 1GHz, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPRS/Edge and HSDPA/CDMA, and perhaps more interestingly, it is Symbian version 5.2 powered, which a quick Google search reveals is Symbian3.
Although there is no explicit mention the screen size, another My Nokia Blog user commented that it’s 2.8 inches, which seems rather small to us and suggests this may be geared more towards business users rather than the multimedia-conscious audience of the N8.
There’s also an eight-megapixel camera on board with dual LED flash, as the phone has been recently used to take photos at a wedding somewhere in Asia, which tells us there’s at least someone running around with a prototype and we might see an imminent announcement, perhaps in the Mobile World Congress next month. So stay tuned for more information very soon.
