A video of the latest addition to the BlackBerry Storm range has surfaced online, as the business phone maker gears up for a handset onslaught later this year.
The clip is the first showing the Storm 3, AKA the BlackBerry Monaco, in action and apparently confirms earlier reports that it’ll run OS 6.1 out of the box.
Other rumoured features mooted for its spec sheet include a 3.7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen – the highest to feature on a Research in Motion device so far - and a five megapixel camera with high definition video recording.
It’s also expected to offer microSD card support, tethering and 8GB of internal storage.
Details and snaps have also emerged of another BB handset. Unearthed by N4BB, the BlackBerry Bold Touch reputedly the series hallmark physical QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen. Like the Storm 3, it’ll also feature OS 6.1 from launch.
Availability for the handsets is as yet unconfirmed. However, it's anticipated that they'll be along during the third quarter of the year, along with the likes of the Torch 2, Curve Apollo and Dakota.
