Orange and Vodafone will be offering the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play free on monthly contracts from £30 per month, it has been confirmed.
The so-called PlayStation phone is available to pre-order now on both networks, with orders due to be despatched from March 28th.
Orange’s cheapest monthly tariff that includes a free phone is £30.64 per month over 24 months. That includes 500 any-time, any-network minutes per month, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
T-Mobile’s keenest priced free phone deal is slightly cheaper at £30 per month. Choose this and you’ll be entitled to 300 minutes (also any-network, any-time) and an identical allowance of 500MB of mobile web use and unlimited SMS messages.
The Play is one of the year’s most anticipated handsets and combines the functionality of a cutting-edge Android phone with dedicated gaming controls and PSP quality games.
Features of the handset include the latest smartphone version of Android out of the box, a 4.3-inch touchscreen and a powerful dual core 1GHz processor to ensure everything ticks over real smooth, like.
