The iPhone 4 Alarmgate saga continues as yet another glitch has surfaced, this time sending iFans two hours into the past.
User testimonies about the problem have been pouring in all over the web after iPhone 4 owners stateside complained of the alarm not going off on time - again. So far, the problem seems to be restricted to users on the AT&T and Verizon networks, at least for now.
We’re still in the dark as to exactly what’s causing the alarm app to behave so erratically, but a temporary solution that has been suggested is to give the phone a good old-fashioned reboot. Users have also been advised to give switching on the aeroplane mode on and then off again a try.
The latest glitch is similar to one that prevented alarms to go off on time on New Year’s Day and failed to adjust to the daylight saving time back in November, causing revellers and workers alike to oversleep.
Until we get a more permanent fix, it's strongly advisable that you rely on alternative sources to wake you from your slumber.
