A leaked image has surfaced online showcasing what appears to be the successor to Sony Ericsson’s (SE) tiny but smart Xperia X10 Mino Pro handset.
Going by a blurry snap posted on XperiaBlog, the all-white smartphone looks exactly the same as the black version of the kit leaked previously. Specs are still thin on the ground, but judging by the pics and speculation we're hearing in the tech quarters, the phone will sport a slightly larger three-inch display compared to the 2.6-inch effort the original Mini Pro.
It’s also said to run on a meatier 800MHz Snapdragon MSM7230 processor and an Adreno 205 GPU to help it pack enough punch to compete in a field that is soon to be crowded by dual core smarties.
SE had already confirmed in January that it plans to add more handsets to the Mini range, so we would be hardly surprised to see an announcement regarding the Mini Pro 2 imminently.
The leak comes hot off the heels of a bigger rumour doing the rounds this morning that SE is set to unleash at least nine new Android handsets to market in 2011. We already know about the Xperia Arc, Play and Neo, plus the Vivaz Pro but it seems there may yet be more aces up SE’s sleeve, so keep ‘em peeled.
