Price points for the white iPhone 4 were leaked online last night, before UK carrier 3 yanked the product page as quickly and unexpectedly as it had gone up.
However, in the time it was live the page revealed that the 32GB edition of the long-awaited smartie will be available on 3’s One Plan for £35 per month. That entitles takers to unlimited data, 5,000 texts and 2,000 minutes per month.
The page also indicated would-be buyers face an upfront charge of £135 when bought on the aforesaid contract and that 3 expected to be able to deliver it as soon as April 20th.
However, after the listing was picked up on by tech types, 3 claimed it had hit the web by mistake. Whether that means that the prices were provisional too isn’t yet clear.
The white iPhone 4 was originally slated to land back in June last year – some ten months ago now - along with the standard black version.
However, it’s since faced an arduous journey to market and numerous delays, apparently mostly relating light leakage that rendered it unusable as a snapper.
