The much-anticipated update for Angry Birds Rio should land tomorrow, it has been revealed.

Dubbed Beach Volley, the update had originally been expected earlier this week. However, games-maker Rovio has since disclosed via its Twitter feed that it has been hit by delays and that it is aiming for a Thursday launch.
“The Beach Volley update should be out Thursday. Running some days late as there were some last minute challenges due to us moving offices,” Rovio stated.
However, in more positive news the company has also confirmed on the micro-blogging service that the update will be bringing 30 new levels to the game. So at least there’ll be plenty to get your teeth into when it drops.
Like its predecessor Rio, Beach Volley sees everyone’s favourite irate avians decamp to Brazil for new levels decorated with local colour such as monkeys, volleyballs and beach umbrellas.
Meanwhile, a separate update for the original Angry Birds is expected later this month.
