The Twitter app for Android devices has had a minor revamp, bringing some neat new features to the micro-blogging service.
Available to download now for free, Twitter’s official application offers users the option to save attachments in drafts and adds some unspecified bug fixes.
News of the update comes amid widespread speculation that Twitter will be at the forefront of the soon-to-land iOS 5 – the latest iteration of Apple’s smartphone and tablet operating system.
According to unconfirmed rumours, the option to share images to Twitter will be baked into the OS – specifically into the pre-installed camera and video app.
This feature will reportedly be enabled by users logging into iOS with their Twitter details.
Tech types also anticipate that Twitter followers will be synced into the iPhone’s contacts application to bring friends’ feeds into a single location.
