The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Samsung Galaxy S can be snapped up for a wallet friendly £16.50 per month, as part of a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it promotion from O2.
Update: O2 has extended the offer. It now closes at midnight tonight (Monday, 13th June, 2011)
Customers who sign up for a 24-month contract for either Android powered smartie before 12.00pm on Sunday night qualify for the offer.
For that outlay, you’ll get 50 call minutes and 250 text messages per month, plus 500MB of data.
Released a matter of weeks ago, the Xperia Arc packs the latest version of Android (AKA Gingerbread) for smartphones out of the box, plus a rather impressive four-inch screen featuring the same BRAVIA tech you find in high-end Sony TVs.
Also tucked away in its curved, tapering form factor is an eight-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus and a powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
The Galaxy S, which is one of the best-selling Android phones yet, offers a Super AMOLED display, also coming in at four inches, as well as a five-megapixel snapper and a 1GHz processor to keep everything ticking over nicely.
