The latest instalment of the Rainbox Six series of stealth-em-ups is coming exclusively to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, heading up an impressive looking release schedule for the so-called PlayStation phone in the months ahead.
The SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS-esque franchise’s newest addition, AKA Rainbox Six: Shadow Vanguard, will be free to download from tomorrow for Play owners in Western Europe and will purportedly “take full advantage of [The Xperia Play’s] game-changing control pad”.
Robert Styppa, Vice President Western Europe for Sony Ericsson, said: “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard with its big fan community and fascinating gameplay is a perfect addition to the quality releases for Xperia Play.”
Sony Ericsson has also confirmed it will be showcasing 20 new titles at this year’s E3 consumer electronics beano taking place between June 7th-9th.
Highlights of the line-up, for us at least, are cult favourite Minecraft, Desert Winds and Pocket Legends.
