Satellite navigation provider TomTom has updated its official iPhone app to version 1.8, bringing with it a number of useful enhancements.
Users can now set up to five waypoints as stops they may wish to make on the way to their final destination, such as service stations, hotels, shops and even tourist spots. This should save drivers the time and trouble of having to calculate the E.T.A to their destination over and over.
Maps have been updated too and now boast the most recent roads data in countries where the app is available. This includes TomTom’s speed cameras database to keep you in check.
There’s also HD Traffic support which provides detailed and up-to-date traffic patterns for a more accurate and hassle-free journey, plus IQ Routes and. of course, voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation.
TomTom for iPhone is available to download now from the App Store for £49.99 for UK and Ireland.
