Battlefield Bad Company 2 is now available on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, bringing the console hit to mobile devices for the first time.

Priced £5 and on offer via the built-in Get Games app on the Play, the first person shooter includes five battle zones and 14 single player missions to blast your way through, as well as the now-standard selection of vehicles to take control of when your combat boots start pinching.
The game will be exclusive to the Play initially, but is scheduled for other Android kits running the 2.3 version of Google’s software later this year.
Snaring EA’s shooter undoubtedly represents something of a coup for SE’s device. But whether it’ll do anything to boost demand for the Play is another matter.
More likely to do that are the price drops we’ve been told are on the way on select UK networks. Keep ‘em peeled and we’ll be sure to keep you informed when we know more.
