Microsoft has released a new version of its OneNote note-taking application for the iPhone, which is available to download now in the UK.
Launching outside the US for the first time since its release in January, OneNote is free from the UK App Store, as well as Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand for a limited period.
The app allows users to create, edit and store notes on the cloud, making them accessible anywhere on almost any device with a web browser.
You can organise notes in customisable categories too, such as notes relating to work or a trip abroad, for example. Notes can be formatted in a variety of ways using text, pictures, bullet points and checkboxes to create lists, to-dos and whathaveyou.
Of course, a search option is on board as well to find notes if you have too many to sift through and there’s a separate screen dedicated to your most recently opened notes.
OneNote is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch devices running iOS 4.2 or higher. A Windows Live ID is required to use the app.
