Three has unveiled price points for the Nokia X7, offering the Symbian Anna-toting handset free on contract deals from £30 per month or £35 if you're in the market for unlimited data.
Touted as one of Symbian’s last-hurrahs before the arrival of the Meego-powered N9 and slew of Windows Phone 7 kits from the House of Nok Nok, the X7 features a crisp AMOLED screen and an eight megapixel snapper with dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording.
It’s also home to four external speakers for enjoying media on the go and blighting fellow bus-travellers’ journeys and expandable storage of 32GB via microSD card support.
As with all phones running the new 3.0 version of Symbian, the X7 boasts a cleaner UI than previous Symbian kits thanks to redesigned widgets, a new version of Ovi Maps and an enhanced virtual keyboard and faster browser.
On top of your mix of texts, call minutes and mobile data allowance Three is sweetening the deal with a free 16GB microSD card (other carriers’ are providing an 8GB version).
You’ll also get use of 3Spot – a tethering function that allows you to connect web-enabled devices to the web using your handset as a de-facto wireless hotspot.
