Facebook for Android has been updated to version 1.6.3, bringing an array of improvements and bug fixes to the popular social networking app.
Available today, the software refresh is a little light on new features, but is packed with much-needed enhancements and patch-ups for existing ones.
Chief among these is improved 'Pages' support such as the ability to view the full list of pages you've 'liked' as well as Pages you admin. And at long last, the option to post as Pages you admin is present and correct too.
The design of the composer bar has also been tweaked and you can now tag pages in status updates using “@”.
Elsewhere, the update fixes a number of bugs, including one that caused birthdays to disappear from the calendar and another which resulted in a crash when you fired up the app after upgrading.
The Facebook for Android update is available right now from the Android Market for devices running Android 1.5 and up.
