The two latest smartphones in Samsung’s Galaxy range, the Galaxy S2 White and Galaxy S Plus will be available on Vodafone, the carrier has confirmed.
Vodafone has updated its coming soon page for upcoming handsets to include the shiny new white edition of the Galaxy S2, joining O2 and Three for its eagerly awaited UK launch next month.
Customers interested in picking up the S2 in white on Vodafone can register for updates on its website. Although pricing details have yet to be revealed, it’s expected to be broadly in line with the original Galaxy S2, which is available from £36 per month on a two-year deal.
The new paintjob aside, features of the white S2 remain virtually unchanged from the black edition. These include a powerful 1.2GHz dual core processor, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, an eight-megapixel camera that snaps and shoots in 1080p HD and the latest Gingerbread build of Android installed out of the box.
Meanwhile, Vodafone has also announced that a revamped, rebooted version of the original Galaxy S is now also on sale on contracts starting at £31 a month.
This packs a more powerful 1.4GHz processor than its predecessor, as well as chrome rim around the bezel that may as well have been ripped straight from the iPhone 3GS with a Samsung logo slapped on top. Best pick it up now before it too gets pulled like its tablet brother the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
