Vodafone has cut the price of the iPhone 4, as it becomes the latest network to follow the lead of O2's flash sales and get on board with limited-period, weekend-only promotions.
Under the terms of the offer, which expires Monday 12th September, customers can get the 16GB edition of Apple’s current-gen kit for free £39 per month – down from £41 per month previously.
This entitles takers to a pretty substantial 600 minutes and unlimited texts every month. You’ll also get 750Mb of mobile internet data for all browsing and downloading needs.
The price drop for the iPhone 4 comes as carriers are clearing the decks for the fifth Apple smartphone – three months or more after it was first expected to appear.
Now thought likely to arrive either this month or in October, the handset is rumoured to be smaller and lighter and with a mooted spec sheet that takes in an eight megapixel camera, a four-inch touchscreen and advanced voice commands.
