The next-generation iPhone will rock a Samsung Galaxy S2-esque 4.3-inch display, a source has claimed, as Apple brings its flagship kit in line with rival Android handsets.
According to tech mavens CNET, its French site was recently treated to a show and tell of the soon-come Apple handset by a rival manufacturers, in so doing revealing that Cupertino has opted to substantially boost its offering’s display real estate from the current-gen iPhone’s 3.5-inches.
Alas, further details don’t appear to have been forthcoming. However, supply chain heat and other leaks from the techosphere suggest that at least one of the two new smarties Apple is rumoured to be prepping will feature an eight-megapixel camera – up from the iPhone 4’s five megapixel number.
Also expected to figure somewhere in the forthcoming kit or kits is the same dual core A5 processor as the iPad 2 and advanced voice commands smarts to enable de facto conversations between you and your handset.
The good news is that we won’t have long to find out for sure. Apple is unveiling its latest tilt at a smartphone on October 4th at its California campus.
