Listings for reception-boosting bumpers for the iPhone 4S have been spotted on Vodafone Germany’s website, all but confirming the existence of the much-rumoured variant.
Uncovered by Fudzilla on the accessories page for the iPhone 4, the bumpers were listed for three storage options for the iPhone 4S: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, adding fresh credence to rumours that the next iPhone would double the max storage capacity of its predecessor.
However, the fact the bumpers are listed amongst those for the iPhone 4 also suggests the design of the iPhone 4S is unlikely to change much, which would be disappointing to say the least.
Grimmer yet is the conspicuous absence of the iPhone 5, as the tech world grows anxious over uncertainty whether Apple will release a full-fledged successor to the iPhone 4 or a cheaper, iterative update.
Whatever the case, we need only wait until tomorrow to find out for sure when Apple holds its “Let’s Talk iPhone” press event at 6pm UK time.
