UK networks have begun the pre-order process for the shiny, new iPhone 4S, ahead of its official release on contract deals on October 12th.
Orange and partner network T-Mobile have both launched pages where you can register your interest in the handset and get notifications once pricing is confirmed.
Vodafone has also been quick off the mark with a pre-registration page. As you might expect, it’s the same drill here too with users supplying their e-details in exchange for as-it-happens info on price points and tariffs.
O2 and Three have both confirmed they’re on board with the iPhone 4S and will be offering the fifth-generation Apple smartphone on monthly plans from day one. However, at the time of writing they’d yet to start a pre-reg scheme.
In news that won’t surprise anyone, Virgin Media (VM) is remaining tight-lipped over whether it’ll carry the phone. But if past form is anything to go by – VM remains the only major UK network that doesn’t carry the iPhone in any iteration - we wouldn’t advise holding your breath.
