The Samsung Galaxy Note will drop on November 1st and will be cheaper than originally anticipated, a product listing on a gadget retailer reveals.
SIM free specialists Clove initially listed the Note for a wallet-sapping £559. However, today it’s cut the price to a slightly more affordable £495 when bought sans contract.
The handset’s due date has also changed from November 17th to November 1st, giving you 12 days to wait until you get your hands on the tablet-cum-smartphone hybrid.
Touted by Samsung as a “new type of smartphone”, the Note’s spec sheet takes in a vast 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen and Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) out of the box.
Also on board is a dual core 1.4GHz ARM processor to keep everything running smoother than Don Johnson at his Miami Vice-peak, an eight megapixel snapper with LED flash and autofocus and a two megapixel, front-facing camera for video calls.
Contract pricing and carriers aren’t yet confirmed. But we anticipate you’ll be able to grab it free from around £35 per month.
