Good news, everyone! The Spotify app for BlackBerry has finally graduated from beta status to an official app, ready to stream a world of music to your ears anywhere on the go.
Available as a preview release until now, Spotify for BlackBerry works much like versions on iOS, Android and other major platforms– serving more than 15 million tracks for a premium monthly subscription fee of £9.99.
Users can search for songs, artists and albums, stream music over Wi-Fi and 2.5/3G, create playlists and sync them offline for listening without an active internet connection. BlackBerry models compatible with the app include the 9000, 9700 and 9780 in the Bold range and the 9300 and 8520 Curve.
Only handsets running on GSM networks are supported currently. CDMA phones and the Torch 9800 are not yet compatible.
To grab the app, simply navigate to m.spotify.com on your mobile browser. But first be sure to sign up for a Spotify Premium account.
